In recent years, audit has undergone a renaissance worldwide. In the Canadian federal government, internal audit has dramatically changed, and CPM's audit team played an important role in this change process. We participated extensively in the analysis and consultations that supported the development of the 2006 Policy on Internal Audit, and supported TBS in the roll out of the policy.
We have extensive experience conducting Internal and External Audits, Special Examinations, Reviews and Preliminary Assessments that align with International, Canadian and Public Sector requirements and standards. CPM also has had extensive involvement in helping internal audit organizations build or enhance capacity. And we have supported dozens of Chief Audit Executives and internal audit functions in their efforts to develop and mature practices to meet the 2006 Policy requirements.
